This multidisciplinary field brings together expertise from various disciplines, such as physics, chemistry, materials science, and engineering. The development of Nano and Materials Science has led to groundbreaking innovations and applications in electronics, energy storage, catalysis, healthcare, and environmental remediation. Nanomaterials possess exceptional mechanical, electrical, and optical properties, offering opportunities for designing novel devices, sensors, coatings, and drug delivery systems.
Researchers have made significant progress in understanding the fundamental principles of nanomaterial synthesis, characterization, and manipulation. Various synthesis methods, including bottom-up and top-down approaches, have been explored to engineer materials with tailored properties. Advanced characterization techniques, such as electron microscopy and spectroscopy, provide insights into the structure and behavior of nanomaterials at atomic and molecular scales.
The 2026 14th International Conference on Nano and Materials Science (ICNMS 2026) will be held in Singapore during January 21-24, 2026. This conference aims to bring together researchers, scientists, and industry professionals worldwide to exchange knowledge, share research findings, and discuss the latest advancements in the field. ICNMS 2025 provides a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration and fosters interactions between academia and industry.
